Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions (Terms) apply when you agree to make a voluntary contribution to The ATTN Economy. By contributing to The ATTN Economy, you acknowledge that you have understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.

The ATTN Economy reserves the right to make changes to these Terms at any time, effective upon the publication of the modified terms on this page. By continuing to make Contributions to us, you agree to be bound by the amended Terms.

1. Eligibility

In order to be eligible to make a contribution, you must be at least 18 years old.

2. Contribution

(a) Your contribution is a one-off Contribution.

(b) Your Contribution is provided to The ATTN Economy as an irrevocable gift. You acknowledge that you are making any Contribution voluntarily and that you will not receive any benefits, entitlements, additional content or special access to The ATTN Economy as a result of your Contribution and that The ATTN Economy is entitled to use your Contribution in any way it sees fit. You acknowledge that you are not entitled to any report or account from The ATTN Economy around how it will or does use your Contribution.

3. Payment

(a) You make a voluntary payment to support The ATTN Economy.

(b) You acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for any fees and charges you incur if your Contribution cannot be processed.

(d) You must provide complete and accurate payment information when you agree to Contribute to The ATTN Economy.

(e) Your payment will be securely processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. This payment process may be subject to Stripe's Consumer Terms and Privacy Policy or Squarespace Payments Terms and Privacy Policy. You agree that you have read, understood and agree to be bound both the Stripe and Squarespace Payment Method Terms and Privacy Policy.

4. Tax

The ATTN Economy is not a deductible gift recipient for income tax purposes.

5. Privacy

You must:

(a) ensure that all information provided to The ATTN Economy is complete, accurate and current (and update such information to ensure that it remains accurate);

(b) ensure that you have reviewed The ATTN Economy Privacy Policy (as updated from time to time).

6. Intellectual Property

The ATTN Economy owns (or have obtained the right to use) all data and intellectual property rights existing in or created in relation to The ATTN Economy.

You agree not to engage in any screen scraping, data mining or similar data gathering tools or practices to attempt to copy any of the content or data available via The ATTN Economy.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, in no event will The ATTN Economy be liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage or expense – irrespective of the manner in which it occurs – which may be suffered due to your Contribution to The ATTN Economy.

8. General

(a) If any part or the whole of these Terms is invalid, illegal or unenforceable, then such provision will be severed. Such severance will not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining Terms.

(b) If we do not exercise or enforce any right available to The ATTN Economy under these Terms, it does not constitute a waiver of such right.

(d) These Terms are governed by the law of Victoria.

9. Definitions

The following definitions apply to these Terms:

(a) ‘Contributions’ means one-off voluntary payments made by you to The ATTN Economy;

(b) 'The ATTN Economy', 'our', 'us' and 'we' means The Attention Economy Pty Ltd, together with any associated entities; and
